We are Heidi Rentz & Zander Ault, Co-Conspirators behind Shack in the Back Productions. Together and with a rotating cast of incredible friends, we work to achieve the goals of this unusual and fun organization.

We’ve spent the past 15 years allowing the Sonoran Desert to welcome our souls deeper & deeper into its powerful habitation. It's vastness and raw characteristics have provided us the space to dream & realize our potential to impact those we spend time with on the land, around the table, and amongst the stars of the Madrean Sky Island ecosystem.
